Elias had a great first birthday party today. He loved all of the attention and taking a bath in cake. Instead of gifts, we asked that guests bring diapers to give to those in need. It is hard to believe that he is going to be one.

"You have a date with justice One-eyed Bart". Maybe we have seen too much Toy Story lately. Elias is now being patched daily to see if it helps his eyes. He is cute even with an eye patch. Not everyone could carry off this fashion.

If you decide to use the restroom at our house please understand we offer a fancy toilet paper unroll service. Please find your already unrolled paper on the floor. Unrolling toilet paper is so hard. You are very welcome.

Elias is 10 months old today. He is now sleeping through the night and will take a bottle (juice only). This all started about a week ago and I am so grateful. He loves to pull up on things, stand, and cruise. I am very happy he learned how to sit down from standing. He is a climber and loves to climb into Emerson's bed at a super fast speed and climb out of his bath seat. His all time favorite activity is dumping the dog water and watching us run across the room.

Mr. Elias is 9 months old today. He loves to climb and stand. His latest achievement was climbing into Emerson's bed.

Elias went to the doctor today for his 9 month well check. He is 28.25 in (46th %) and 20 lbs 1.2 oz (58th %). He is not a fan of eating solids or bottles, so the doctor expressed a small amount of concern about his percentile changes. We are to work with him on eating and babbling and give him another month to hope to see progress. If he shows no progress, we will look into first steps.

Tooth 8 came in for Elias today. Tooth 7 must have been a couple weeks earlier.

Elias has gone back to exclusively nursing around the clock this week. Took him to the doctor this morning and he has Pneumonia, too. He decided to one up Emerson and get a double ear infection as well. I am ready to sleep again. David is going to be on a first name basis with the pharmacist soon.

Eli pulled up to a standing position and got stuck. He needed help to sit back down. He later did it on his own. Although he cries the whole time as if to say, "Why am I growing up?"
