Emily had an awesome 8th birthday party today at the park. She invited family and friends and tons of classmates and friends from school. At her request, we had giant pickles, cheese balls, fruit snacks, watermelon, popsicles, and cupcakes. Emily said today was probably the best day of her life.

Emily's school had Track and Field Day today. She did her best and received a first place ribbon on a team relay race. She also won some tug-of-war matches.

Emily and Elise started tennis lessons today.

Had a great time at Grandma's house hunting for Easter Eggs, digging for money, and playing with cousins. The next day on Easter morning, we got cool scooters with princess helmets and hunted for eggs inside our house. After church, we went to Abuela's house and had lots of fun.

Poor Emily has strep again and will have a new antibiotic.

Emily and David had a special time at the Reagan Elementary Valentine's Day breakfast. Mmmmmm... donuts! She only wanted daddy to be there and didn't invite the rest of the family.

Emily got a call from a Purdue recruiter this evening. DeAnne had to explain that she is 7 years old and already in bed. A few weeks later, they called for her again.

Emily and Elise had an awesome time at Disney on Ice.

The girls did a great job tonight being angels and the star in the church Christmas program. Emily had a small speaking part and did it perfect.

Emily did great at her Christmas school performance this evening. She sang and danced her heart out. So very cute!
