Emily and Elise had a great time at the preschool Christmas party. They both loved the games and sitting on Santa's lap.

Emily lost her 5th tooth today at school, which I'm convinced she planned because she gets a tiny treasure box from the nurse to put her tooth in. Plus all the attention you get from the other kids in class. Well, tooth fairy mission #5 complete.

Emily lost her 4th tooth today. She pulled it out herself by accident. Tooth Fairy mission is complete.

We had Parent Teacher Conferences with Emily's teacher tonight. She is doing fabulous at school except her handwriting and messy desk.

Emily is doing great in 2nd grade. She already got an outstanding behavior paper sent home and 100% on her first test. She is making new friends and having a good time catching up with old ones.

Emily's 1st day back to school. No tears in the morning, but the night before was filled with them. We were glad to see a very happy little girl get off the bus so excited about her new teacher and friends.

Had a great time in Myrtle Beach. This is Emily's first time at the ocean that she can remember (she was a little baby the first time). Emily loves the strong waves. She was too brave for Mom and Dad and we kept having to have her come closer to the shore.

Emily went in for her 7 year well check today and is doing wonderful. She weighs 44 pounds and is in the 18th percentile and is 47 inches tall in the 31st percentile.

Today was Emily's 7th birthday. Yesterday we spent the morning at Eagle Creek Park visiting the nature center and lots of hiking. This morning she had a luau party with lots of friends and family. She is one very happy girl!
