Last day of middle school for Emily. It is amazing to see how she transformed into a young lady in her time at middle school.

My Emily turned 14!! It is hard to believe how fast she is growing up. We had Emily day on Saturday full of shopping and just mom and dad time. Sunday, we did a little more shopping and spent time together as a family.

Emily played her final orchestra concert as an 8th grader. It included all orchestra students 6th grade to seniors. It was packed.

Emily had her 8th grade social/dance this evening. DeAnne was able to chaperone and had a great time watching the kids interact. DeAnne is so grateful that Emily still likes her going with her to these things.

Our last day in St. Louis was visiting Grants Farms and The Arch. We had a wonderful and exhausting time.

Another day in St. Louis with buses full of 8th graders. Today we went to the zoo, had the outdoor performance canceled due to rain that didn’t stop all day, and then to Six Flags. With constant rain and temps never getting out of the 40s it was cold. The kids all had a great time and the parents are exhausted.

Today on the St. Louis orchestra trip Emily and DeAnne went to the Science Center and the City Museum in St. Louis.

Made it to our first stop in St. Louis for the orchestra and band to play. Emily and the other kids did a great job!

We are so proud of Emily and the Brownsburg East Middle School Track and Field team for being the 2019 Hendricks County champions for both girls and boys!

Emily is getting back into her running groove and ribboned in both of the events that she ran yesterday. So proud of her!
