Emily's first orchestra performance was this morning. These kids did great and have come so far from the beginning of the year when they didn't even have a "license to bow".

Emily went to her first winter social at school and is having her first final exam today. Growing up so fast.

Parent teacher conference tonight for Emily. She is doing great at school and had no complaints from any teacher. They did say that she is very quiet and they are working on getting her to open up more and ask questions. Glad to hear she saves all of her craziness for home.

Emily ran a good cross country season and we are so proud she gets to continue on for one more week because she made the cut for varsity.

Emily ran her third cross country run yesterday. She came in 14th in a combined girls JV/varsity run against Avon. She took a minute and a half off of her last run. So proud of her.

Emily went in for her 11 year well check. She is doing great. She is 55.25 inches tall (26th %) and 64 lbs (7th %). Her BMI is 14.8 (8th %). Perfectly perfect in every way.

Middle school back-to-school night was tonight. Emily got her schedule, locker, and lanyard/ID. Where did the time go? Is middle school really happening?
