Elias has gone back to exclusively nursing around the clock this week. Took him to the doctor this morning and he has Pneumonia, too. He decided to one up Emerson and get a double ear infection as well. I am ready to sleep again. David is going to be on a first name basis with the pharmacist soon.

Eli pulled up to a standing position and got stuck. He needed help to sit back down. He later did it on his own. Although he cries the whole time as if to say, "Why am I growing up?"

My little guy is 8 months old today. He has 5 teeth with more ready to break through any day. He still adores nursing and is not sleeping through the night. He played in the snow and went sledding for the first time today. He also was left with Abuela for the first time today. This is the first time we have left him besides running to have lunch with Elise at school a couple of weeks ago. This was 3 hours and it was rough. He cried a lot. He is a Mommy's guy. I will enjoy this attachment while I have it. They grow up so fast.

Elias now has 3 teeth on the bottom and 1 on the top. He also has his first ear infection. Needless to say there is a lot of screaming and crying and not a lot of sleeping going on lately.

Elias is 7 months old today. He sits up very well by himself, gets up in all fours and rocks, scoots and lunges all over, and started eating some solids. He still is not a fan of the bottle or cup. Not sleeping through the night yet, but has done it a couple of times so I hope that starts very soon. Just a happy busy guy!!

Eli tried solids (rice cereal and breast milk) for the first time tonight. So far he is not a fan.

Elias had his 6 month check up yesterday. He is 18lbs 10oz (69th percentile) and 27in long (62nd percentile). He got 2 shots yesterday that made for a very bad night last night. He is developing perfect. I am just so happy that at his 9-month appointment he is not getting any shots. Perfectly perfect in every way!!
