Today we are working on blood pressure and finding out what meds and dosages will work for her. Our goal for today was to walk the floor some and sit in the chair for an hour. We got maybe 2 minutes in the chair before the blood pressure bottomed out. Only walked to the bathroom and no walking the floor. We did get a little food in her. Our hope is for a restful night and that she can sit in the chair tomorrow and walk some.

We had a party with well wishes for Elise and her upcoming surgery. She had friends over, bounce house, food, volleyball, karaoke, and released lanterns. We can’t fix her physical body without the help of doctors and this surgery, but we can send her in with an amazing mental attitude and lots of love. She is scheduled to have spine surgery tomorrow at 7:30am. Prayers are greatly appreciated!!

First Baker house quarantine. We got the call and picked up Elise this afternoon. She appears to be taking it just fine. She came home, made hot chocolate, and then decided to relax and watch tv. She is looking forward to sleeping in, but upset she will have to miss her orchestra contest. No symptoms or illness for Elise; she was just within 6 feet of someone else who tested positive for COVID-19.
