Had a great time in Myrtle Beach. This is Elise's first time at the ocean. She loved the little waves along the shore and playing on the sand.

Elise went to the doctor for her 4 year well check appointment and is a very healthy little girl. She weighs 35 pounds and is in the 39th percentile and is 42 inches tall and in the 72nd percentile.

The girls had a great time at Vacation Bible School at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church this week. Mom and Dad love the date nights!

Mom's Day Out started today for the summer on Wednesdays. The girls are having a blast!

We swam in the neighborhood pool this evening. I'm convinced my girls are half mermaid.

Today was Elise's last day of school and the class picnic. It was special having Daddy join for lunch.

Enjoyed visiting Elise's preschool today for Zoo Day. All the kids did a great job presenting their animals and their facts. Very proud of that little girl! It was funny that the one of the facts provided for Elise's giraffe was "carnivore -- eats leaves and twigs". We cut the "carnivore" part out. :)

Emily and Elise had their ballet recital and both had a great time and did a wonderful job praising God through dance.

How awesome it was to hear the girls singing loudly downstairs "My God's not dead, He's surely alive. He's living on the inside, roaring like a lion..." I didn't know they knew the words. So glad we choose to have them listen to good, positive music.

We had so much fun having our friend Caroline stay at our house for a couple days while her Mommy and Daddy were at the hospital for the birth of her little sister Alexandria.
