Elise has been wearing panties all day and is doing great! She even went poo poo all on her own on the potty. She has decided that she really doesn't like diapers anymore.

Elise really enjoyed her trip to Disney World. She acted scared and shy while in line to greet characters, but surprised us when it was her turn because she ran up and hugged them. What a silly girl! She would talk a lot to the characters… even saying “This is you!” while pointing at their picture. So cute! One of Elise’s favorite things to do was swim in the pools.

David took the girls to Michael's to do a craft for Mother's Day. A little challenging and frustrating to work with paints and glues with a 2-year-old. David survived and DeAnne will cherish her gifts. (At least she better!) :)

We moved Elise's crib into Emily's room this morning, so they have officially started sharing a room.

Cousin Everest Grey Eickhoff was born today. Maggie spent the night at our house while her family was at the hospital with her new brother.

We had a great time at Mamaw's today having an Easter egg hunt. We had to look for our eggs inside because the rain started coming down too hard. It was a lot of fun and we got way too much candy.

Elise decided to stay in Emily's room rather than going to her own room and crib. They read books, talked, jumped, and sang for at least 45 minutes before they both fell asleep. They lasted until about 11:30 until coughing made Mommy go put Elise in the crib. It was a good try and we will try again once Elise is feeling up to it.

So happy that Elise had a great 2nd birthday party. She knew all of the elements that go into a birthday party and was still excited talking about them later. Happy Birthday Elise!!!!
