Elise broke through a bottom molar today. She hates walking on her own and only wants to hold your hand... or she'll just crawl. We've been forcing her to walk and it makes her very angry.

We started putting Elise in big dresses that Grandma made so that she is unable to crawl anymore. Sometimes parents just need to push a child a little bit in the right direction.

Elise had a visit to the doctor today. She is now below the 10th percentile in weight. Although, her height and head are both in the 75th percentile. We have been instructed to feed her lots of calories and fat.

Elise walked many times today. The best was when she walked 8 steps by herself without falling between Mommy and Daddy. She also stood up by herself and then walked to her Mommy. We're convinced this was her plan to make this Mother's Day very special.

Elise is very interactive, lots of fun, and high maintenance. She is trying to make lots of sounds and mimics just about everything you do. Elise finally got over her hatred of learning to walk and is quite happy to walk if she holds both of your hands. She crawls very fast and climbs just about everything... especially Emily's bed. Elise absolutely adores animals and goes crazy when she sees a dog. What a fun age!

Although I wasn't feeling good, it was a fun Easter. I love my new wagon and toys.
