Elise turned 6 years old today. Both Mom and Dad were able to come have lunch with her today and then she got to pick where we had dinner at. She finally settled on Chuck E Cheese. She had a great time.

Elise and DeAnne attended a tea party with Girl Scouts this afternoon... as if they weren't tired enough after the sleepover.

Elise had a sleepover birthday party. Although today was Valentine's Day and we had several inches of snow fall quickly during rush hour, everyone made it the party. It was a great time!

Elise lost her first tooth!! Big sister Emily helped by knocking it out.

Children's Christmas program at church was a lot of fun. Elise did very good.

Elise had her first field trip as a kindergartener. We went to the police station, florist, park, racing garage, and post office. The kids had a great time, but man were the grown-ups tired.

Elise attended her first Girl Scouts meeting today.

Elise had M&M math night at school. David went along and was able to see all of the stations that Elise does throughout the day and all about her classroom. Elise loves being a kindergartner most of the time, but she still misses nap time some days.

Elise started kindergarten today. When Elise got off the bus she said "kindergarten rocks!" She was disappointed that they played so much and she did not learn more today.
