While we were on family vacation in Michigan on June 5, 2024, we visited Dutch Village in Holland, MI. They had a barn with lots of animals to feed and visit. The bunnies were the cutest as there were several baby bunnies. We noticed that the bunnies were for sale; $25 each or two for $40. How could we resist? The debates began among the family. We're on vacation, we're staying at a rental that says no pets allowed, we have a 4-hour drive home, we have no supplies or cage, etc. After much debating and discussion, we bought a crate at Walmart and other supplies at a pet store and then bought two bunnies. One bunny was named Haven because we were staying in Grand Haven and the other was named Holland. Unfortunately, several days after arriving home, Haven passed away. |
