Elias had his First Steps evaluation today and failed. It is hard being a 19 month old.
January 5, 2016
Elias went in for his 18 month well check today. He is doing great and growing tall. He is 32.5 inches tall (52nd %), 22 lbs 5.6 oz (24th %), head circumference 18.7 in (53rd %), and a BMI of 14.9. He has not put on any weight for the last 3 months because he will not hold still. We received a referral to have first steps come in and evaluate his lack of speech. Hoping all turns out well.

Elias broke through his two bottom canine teeth.
December 15, 2015
Elias went in for his follow-up eye appointment today. He did great. We are still seeing some crossing, but we are going to wait and see if he out grows it. His left eye tends to float up (new post surgery). We may need to have surgery on that someday, but today I celebrate that we don't return for another 4 months. No patching, glasses, or surgery for at least 4 months makes this mom super happy.

Elias went in at 7:00 am this morning for eye surgery. He did great. He was mad that we were not feeding him and coming out of the anesthesia was rough. After getting up from a good nap he was a happy hungry baby. He is healing great.

Last day for Elias to wear an eye patch. Tomorrow morning he goes in for surgery on both eyes.
October 2, 2015
Elias went to the doctor today. He now weighs 22lbs 11oz (49th %), 31.5 in (63rd %) tall, and his BMI is 16.1. He is a little behind in walking and talking, but we are hopeful it will clear up after his eye surgery. We have until his 18 month appointment to see improvements before we would need to have him evaluated. He had 3 shots and was pretty cranky and feverish for a couple of days.
