Elias went in for his follow-up eye appointment today. He did great. We are still seeing some crossing, but we are going to wait and see if he out grows it. His left eye tends to float up (new post surgery). We may need to have surgery on that someday, but today I celebrate that we don't return for another 4 months. No patching, glasses, or surgery for at least 4 months makes this mom super happy.

Elias went in at 7:00 am this morning for eye surgery. He did great. He was mad that we were not feeding him and coming out of the anesthesia was rough. After getting up from a good nap he was a happy hungry baby. He is healing great.

Last day for Elias to wear an eye patch. Tomorrow morning he goes in for surgery on both eyes.

Elias went to the doctor today. He now weighs 22lbs 11oz (49th %), 31.5 in (63rd %) tall, and his BMI is 16.1. He is a little behind in walking and talking, but we are hopeful it will clear up after his eye surgery. We have until his 18 month appointment to see improvements before we would need to have him evaluated. He had 3 shots and was pretty cranky and feverish for a couple of days.

Elias had his 1 year well check today. He is now 30.75 in (81st %) and 20 lbs 15.8 oz (44th %). He is long and lean for his age. This is not a surprise because he never quits moving.

1 year ago today my family was made complete by this little guy. It has been a tough year, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Happy Birthday, Elias!!
