We spent Christmas Eve with Mamaw, Papaw, and the Charboneau side of my family. That was one busy place. On Christmas morning, we opened up our stockings and gifts at home. Later that day, we spent time with Abuela, Papaw Jerry, and the Baker side of the family. We had a great Christmas.

Today, I went to my Daddy's work for a Christmas pitch-in. Since Uncle Mike works with Daddy, my three cousins were also there. Santa was there, too. I sat on Santa's lap and began crying after 2 seconds. Other than that, it was lots of fun.

Elise became very ill over night Thursday and she appeared to have difficulty breathing. After a visit to the doctor Friday morning, we found out that she had RSV. The doctor issued a breathing treatment right away and that appeared to help. We were told that we will likely end up at the hospital that day and a room would be waiting for us. We opted to try breathing treatments at home every 4 hours. Two prescriptions were given to Elise -- steroids and an anti-biotic. At first Elise was not doing well and couldn't keep the medications down without vomiting and her breathing was still not good. We were also worried about dehydration. We took everything hour-by-hour and eventually started to see improvements. We were very proud of ourselves for keeping Elise out of the hospital all weekend and help her get back to good health.

Elise's first Halloween was a lot of fun. She went dressed up as a little lamb. Elise watched her big sister trick-or-treat from house to house, so next year all of this training should come back to her.

Today, Elise experienced her first Trunk-or-Treat at our church. She was dressed up as a lamb. Also, she had her first sucker. Sticky baby alert!

We went to Zoo Boo today and Elise was dressed like a lamb.

Elise enjoys feeding herself and making a big mess. We've noticed that she likes to chew with her back gums. She only has two teeth in the front. Her doctor says that isn't a skill babies learn until they actually have teeth back there. What can we say?... Elise is advanced.

We went to Brown County today and enjoyed wonderful weather and playing in the park. Elise wasn't so sure about the ponies at first, but eventually enjoyed being around them. In the toy shop, she was playing Beethoven on a little piano... OK so it wasn't classical music, but there's no doubt she's talented.
