Elise has not been feeling well for the past 4 days with a fever, vomiting, crying, etc. She went to the doctor today and it appears that she might have strep throat. If not then it could be something much worse. She now has a prescription and we're watching out for dehydration. DeAnne hasn't had much sleep, so hopefully this gets better soon.

Elise has started what appears to be dancing and singing now when she hears dance-appropriate music. It's so cute and you have no choice but to join in. It's electric!

Elise cut through her second tooth today. Both are on the bottom.

Elise had not been acting herself the last few days, so DeAnne took her to the doctor and found thta she had a double ear infection. Poor baby. Poor DeAnne because the next day David had to fly out of town for work and was gone for 2 nights.

Elise had her 6-month photo shoot today at the portrait studio. She didn't cry or get upset; however, it took way too much energy to get her to smile.

Elise had another routine visit to the doctor today with 3 more shots. She weighs 16 pounds 9 3/4 ounces and is 26 1/2 inches long and is very healthy.

Today we went to a place called the Indiana State Fair. It was lots of fun. I enjoyed seeing all of the animals. My sister stayed so long in the midway that I had to sleep in the stroller.

So we learned that Elise has taste buds and wants her food flavored. She likes different foods mixed together and a little cinnamon. Oatmeal was totally accepted with a little cinnamon and apples.

Elise had a routine visit to the doctor today. She's doing great and right on track with development. She weighs 15 pounds 10 ounces and is 25 3/4 inches long. The bad part is that she received 3 vaccinations. Poor baby.
