We took a little vacation to Wisconsin. It was great to get away for a little bit. We stayed at a hotel that had an indoor and outdoor water park. It was beautiful weather, so we were able to enjoy it every day. There was also an amusement park/arcade that the kids loved. We also enjoyed a morning at the zoo where the kids got to feed a lot of animals. The kids loved it!

We had a wonderful visit to Oinking Acres Farm & Rescue Sanctuary in Brownsburg today. The pigs loved the carrots and apples we brought for them. The 5 speedy piglets were hilarious!

Camped out in the backyard last night after having hotdogs and s’mores in the fire pit. Then a long hike this morning with special guests Dale and grandma’s dog.

Finished kindergarten, 1st grade, 6th grade, and freshman year with final book turn in and picking up personal items from the schools. Sad it had to end this way, but I pray they will be able to attend school in person in the fall.

Had a good Mother’s Day. DeAnne didn’t have to cook any meals or clean up. Visited with both our moms over the weekend. Moms rule!

We ran/walked the virtual Bulldog 5k today as a family. Took a couple of wrong turns so we got some bonus miles in.

Had a fun special Friday evening during this quarantine with breaking in the fire pit with hotdogs and s’mores and having a movie night and “sleepover” downstairs.

Day 4 homeschooling. We decided that you can do your schoolwork wherever you fall. The kitchen floor while I am making breakfast seemed great for Elias today. Elias also got to see his classmates and teacher today. He loved it. To finish the day Elias danced it out to Imagine Dragons (his favorite).

Day 3 of homeschooling. The Price is Right is now our math and economics class. Later we will watch Frozen 2 for our music class.
