November 25, 2020
Emerson and his class traveled back to the 1800s with an in-school fieldtrip. We are so super grateful that the kids are still attending in person school even if the field trips now include more imagination.

The Blaze season came to an end last night. Emerson ran a 3K this week
with a time of 14:22. He received his end of season medal for total miles ran this 8 weeks. Emerson ran 54.25 miles earning him the highest distance runner for the younger kid group.

Emerson had his second time trial today. Just a few weeks ago Emerson was 7:59 and today he was 7:54 for his mile run. He is already showing growth this season and we are so proud.

Emerson had a piece put in the corporation art show this evening. We are so proud of him. To celebrate we went out for ice cream on this very chilly evening.

My big guy turned 7 today. He is smart, sensitive, a great student, perfectionist, he loves LEGO and building anything, he is learning so much so fast, and he continues to amaze us every day. We were able to have lunch with him and friends today at school and then after school we spent a fun-filled evening at Chuck E Cheese. After that we stopped for slurpies before heading home for cake that he helped make himself. I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for him.

The boys had a wonderful time at their meet last night. Emerson placed 2nd in the 1 mile run with a time of 7:15. He loves to run.

Emerson has been persistent about learning to ride a bike without training wheels and he did it this evening. He’s on Eli’s bike in order to be closer to the ground.

1st grade back to school night with Emerson. He was super nervous, but is going to do amazing.

Emerson lost both of his front teeth today. They were loose, but then he knocked himself with his knee and out one came and the other one twisted backwards and came out right after. He did say it feels so much better now they are gone.

Emerson completes kindergarten today. He is learning at such a high speed it amazes me every day. Summer we are ready!!
