It is hard to believe that one year ago Emerson was born gray, lifeless, and not breathing. Thank God for the NICU team that got him breathing again. We were told he would be in NICU for 3-4 days and he was out within 12 hours. When we were readmitted to the ICU we were told he would be in 3 days and we were out in less than 24 hours. He is a fighter. Now he is walking, climbing, and saying a few words. Amazing what a year brings. Happy birthday Emerson!!

Emo had his 9 month well check today. He is prefect!! He now weighs 23lbs (92nd percentile) and is 30.25 inches (98th percentile). He is still nursing strong and loves his finger foods. He is into EVERYTHING!! I wouldn't have him any other way. I am so in love with my little man.

Emerson has been cutting teeth in a strange order. First the bottom middle two. Then the bottom side two. Then the top side two, leaving the top middle still open.
