Emily won a fish that she named Flower at the fair at her elementary school she will attend in the fall. Emily and Elise are so excited to have a new pet. Elise took Flower on a walk and Emily took a nap with Flower.

David and Emily are very excited about Kindergarten. DeAnne, on the other hand, is another story. We got to see Emily's new school for the fall -- Eagle Creek Elementary School -- and see her teacher. Ran into so many familiar faces there, too. We also know lots of current students. It will be great!

We laughed at Emily because after having a Blue Friday at pre-school today and painting a "Go Colts" banner I asked her what the Colts are and she responded with "they're a baseball team." Now the truth is out that my family does not watch sports.

Emily is funny because she is so excited about "Brown Hogs Day" tomorrow. I keep telling her it's "Groundhog". Ha!

We are so happy that Emily was accepted into the school of our choice... Eagle Creek Elementary School. This is one of the year-round public academy schools in Pike Township. Now we don't need to move to a different school district. Hurray!

We love that Emily is learning things in pre-school and teaching us. She said, "There was a nice brown lady on a bus and she wanted to sit here and they said 'no' and took her away. Then they let only brown people sit on the bus. And they said 'no peach people... you have to leave.'..."

We are happy that Emily spent the entire night at her Abuela's (grandma's) house for a sleep over with her 2 cousins. She'll be there all day too. I'm not sure DeAnne will survive.

Emily had a dance recital today at Trader's Point. She did great and sang super loud. We are so proud.

We all went to Disney on Ice tonight. The girls loved it and Emily was ready to go back as soon as we left.
