Emily had her first freshman performance. It was wonderful to watch her play and enjoy it so much.

Our girl is growing up. Emily had a cross country meet on Thursday, went to the homecoming football game on Friday, had another meet on Saturday morning, and then the homecoming dance this evening. Lots of new high school experiences for this freshman.

Another Saturday another run for Emily. Today she had the opportunity to run varsity because a few girls are out with illnesses. Her team placed 4th. She shaved almost 20 seconds off her time from last week. I can’t wait to watch her the rest of the season.

Emily ran her first 5k as part of the high school team today. She had a great time and is really starting to grow as a runner. Changing from running 3k to 5k makes her push herself a little more. I love that the team starts every meet with prayer asking God to keep them safe and thanking Him for all the blessings of the day before them.

Emily had her second high school cross country meet today. She ran the 3K for JV and did really well finishing around 13:12.

Emily had her first high school cross country run. She ran JV and came in 44th out of 220 girls. A great start to her freshman year.

Last day of middle school for Emily. It is amazing to see how she transformed into a young lady in her time at middle school.

My Emily turned 14!! It is hard to believe how fast she is growing up. We had Emily day on Saturday full of shopping and just mom and dad time. Sunday, we did a little more shopping and spent time together as a family.

Emily played her final orchestra concert as an 8th grader. It included all orchestra students 6th grade to seniors. It was packed.
