Today is Emily's first birthday. She started out the day by opening up a couple presents. Then she went to Target for a photo shot at the studio. We had a special birthday lunch at El Rodeo (Emily's favorite Mexican restaurant). In the evening, we went to Ritter's and had sundaes. While at Ritter's Emily was serenaded a special birthday song by 3 ladies. Needless to say, Emily loved the song. It was a great first birthday!

DeAnne went back to work on a part-time basis today and Emily went to day care for the first time. Everything went very well.

Emily went on her first Easter egg hunt at church and found 2 eggs. She also got her first haircut by our awesome hairdresser Camas.

Mom and Dad bought Emily a Little Tikes variety climber and swing set. It took a long time to put together this weekend, but it was worth it... Emily absolutely loves it.

Today, Emily is 10 months old. She is crawling very fast. She is also walking while holding onto things, but is not brave enough to try it alone. Also, she babbles quite a bit.

Emily went to the Children's Museum for the first time today. She absolutely loved the playscape area. She also enjoyed the carousel and her first ice cream cone.

Emily is 9 months old today. She can crawl everywhere, pull herself up, and even stand for several seconds without any help. Also, she can multi-task, so Mom and Dad certainly have their work cut out now.

Emily is crawling very fast and pulling herself up... we lowered her crib as a result.

Tooth number two broke through. Both are on the bottom.

Emily is getting in her first tooth. The top of it has just started to come through. She will sometimes let you feel it, but there is no way to get a picture.
