November 27, 2019
My big guy turned 7 today. He is smart, sensitive, a great student, perfectionist, he loves LEGO and building anything, he is learning so much so fast, and he continues to amaze us every day. We were able to have lunch with him and friends today at school and then after school we spent a fun-filled evening at Chuck E Cheese. After that we stopped for slurpies before heading home for cake that he helped make himself. I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for him.

The boys had a wonderful time at their meet last night. Emerson placed 2nd in the 1 mile run with a time of 7:15. He loves to run.

Emerson has been persistent about learning to ride a bike without training wheels and he did it this evening. He’s on Eli’s bike in order to be closer to the ground.

1st grade back to school night with Emerson. He was super nervous, but is going to do amazing.

Emerson lost both of his front teeth today. They were loose, but then he knocked himself with his knee and out one came and the other one twisted backwards and came out right after. He did say it feels so much better now they are gone.

Emerson completes kindergarten today. He is learning at such a high speed it amazes me every day. Summer we are ready!!

Another Blaze running club season completed. Emerson finished the season with 42.5 miles, which was his goal to beat sister. Emerson also ranked 3rd fastest boy for the 1-mile group.

Emerson had a super fun Kindy 500 today. He loved playing all the games and spending time with friends.

Emerson had his first track and field day. He earned five 1st place ribbons and two 2nd place ribbons. He was the fastest kid in kindergarten (four 1st place ribbons for individual running and one 1st place ribbon for relay running), won 1st place for disc toss, 2nd place in long jump, and 2nd place in ball toss.
