Emerson had his kindergarten program and graduation this evening. He did a wonderful job. To top off the special evening he had a banana split.

Emerson and Elise competed in another meet this evening at the middle school course with Brownsburg Blaze and the elementary school run clubs. Emerson got a 7th place ribbon.

Proud of Elise, Emerson, and the other Brownsburg Blaze runners for their meet with the Avon runners. Emerson got a 4th place ribbon.

Field trip to Eagle Creek with Emerson today. He made a habitat for a pill big, scooped goop out of a pond to look for bugs in it, and got to see and touch a turtle and snake. Fun day for this guy!!

Emerson went in for a well check today and is doing wonderful. He is 52lbs (75th percentile), 4-foot-tall (87th percentile), and a BMI of 15.65 (57th percentile).

Emerson got to dress up for the 100th day of kindergarten dressing up as a 100-year-old. The kids were all very cute.

My big man is 6 years old today! He loves waking up early, Legos, running, playing basketball, Hot Wheels, video games, tormenting his sisters, playing with his brother, and pizza. It is so hard to believe 6 years have gone by.

Emerson had an amazing 6th birthday party yesterday. He was surrounded by friends and family that came to make his day special. We played pin the star on the ninja, pass the farting pig, Saran Wrap ball game, and shot the ninjas off the half wall. Add to that snacks and cupcakes and he was one happy little boy. Today he has loved building his new LEGO sets.

Had a fun night yesterday at the Kindergarten Eric Carle event at school. Emerson played a game, read a book, had a snack, acted out The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and saw his teachers perform a play.

Kindergarten back-to-school night for Emerson. I am not sure I am ready for him to go! When did he grow up so much!!
