Emerson pooped on the potty for the first time today. It wasn't really his idea, but he did it.

I think having 6 people live in this house means someone will always be on an antibiotic. David just finished his for strep and Emerson has Pneumonia. Go away winter!!

Emerson went to his first Pacers game tonight. He loved that he could yell "defense" at any point and no one cared.

Emerson gave himself is first haircut today. He was complaining that there was hair in his paci and mom found it was coming from his own head. It wasn't noticeable.

Emerson must keep a tool with him during naps. He is obsessed with tools!

Emerson has shaved hours off the time he sleeps. In the morning he is up before mommy is out of the shower and then at nap time he fights it and sleeps as little as possible. The first thing he says when he gets up is "Choo-choo movie". Mommy has watched The Polar Express so much that her head is spinning. Guess it could be worse... it could be Dora or Barney.

Emo had his 2-year well check today. He is doing wonderful. He is 36.5 inches tall (96th percentile) and weighs 27lbs 3oz (39th percentile). He is right on track and perfectly perfect in every way. Growing up way too fast.

My little turkey is 2 today! You are all boy. You love balls, cars, planes, baking with mommy, and tools. I have learned so much from you. You have grown up so much this year. You love nothing more than to spend time with your sisters or Daddy. Another recent favorite is preschool. You ask to go every day. I am excited to see what this next year holds for you.

Emerson did great for school today. He did not cry when dropping off for preschool for the first time. He walked down the hallway and then into class without the need for his pacifier or blanket. When school was done, he was still happy.
