On Christmas Eve, we celebrated at Mamaw's and Papaw's house (DeAnne's parents). Then we went over to Abuela's and Papaw Jerry's house (David's parents). Emily, along with the rest of us, really enjoyed the home-cooked Cuban food.

Our family arrived in town from Miami, Florida to spend the Christmas holiday with us. Uncles (Tios) Paqui and Rolan made it in very late on Friday night. Tania, Rigo, Elizabeth, and Jonathan arrived on Saturday afternoon. We spent lots of time together visiting, playing, and eating delicious food.

Emily and DeAnne went to David's work for a holiday pitch-in. Santa stopped in for a visit and gave all the kids a gift. Emily got a Cabbage Patch doll that goes in the water. We all had a great time.

Emily performed in the Children's Christmas Program at church today. This was her first on-stage performance. She was dressed up as an angel. She had 1 line said with the other angels of "Glory to God in the highest!" She was very entertaining by wondering around and picking her nose. That certainly makes a parent proud.
