Big day here at the Baker house. Emily came home from camp today. I missed her so much, but she had an amazing time. She has so much to tell us that I don't think she has stopped talking. She did break a hairbrush while at camp, but we were able to give her Elise's when we went to pick up Elise. On a side note, camp clothes should come with a stink warning. These were pretty bad.

Big day here!! Last day of 5th grade, last day elementary school, and 11th birthday for Emily. The excitement level is super high at the Baker house today.

Emily hit her goal of breaking the Brownsburg Blaze Running Club record and ran 113.5 miles over the 8 week season. So proud of her. Oh and Coach Baker who was always there to encourage her.

Another cross country race this morning, this one against Avon. They are a very competitive team. This time Emily came in 4th place. She is very proud because the last time we ran against them she came in 11th. Way to go!!

Track and field day for the girls' school was a lot of fun today. They had a lot of fun and the girls each won 2 ribbons for running. Emily won 2nd place for an individual run and 3rd place for a relay race. It was a nice day to be outside.

Emily ran a 3k tonight and came in 5th place for girls She ran strong for such a rainy night.

Middle School Night!! It feels like she just started grade school. Time is flying by.

Emily set her cross country goal to run 100 miles this season (ends the end of May). She is 3 weeks in and has ran 52.5 miles!! Very proud of her!!

It has been an exciting week for Emily. 2 teeth lost and new glasses.

Emily made the big decision today to play the violin next year at middle school. We went to the middle school and she had the opportunity to try out any instrument that she wanted and she tried the violin and it was pure love. She is so excited!!
