Today Emily had her 4th birthday party. Letting her design her party was a good idea. We had pizza, pickles, olives (black and green), cheese puffs, an M&M cake, and a piņata. The weather was perfect to play outside... even to get wet. We asked her what she liked best and she said everything except opening gifts in front of people. We were just glad she stayed out from under the table while we sang happy birthday (unlike last year). Thanks to all who came and the wonderful gifts.

Today was Emily's last day of preschool as a Racer. It was a fun day with a picnic. One more year of preschool.

We had a fun time at Emily's preschool for her zoo day. She was the zoo keeper for dolphins. She made a dolphin habitat and told everyone 3 facts about dolphins. Did you know that dolphins live in the ocean, eat fish, and breathe through their blowholes? It's true.

We had a great Easter this year. I love my new wagon and all of the other toys. I got to find tons of eggs at Mamaw's house with Maggie and my other cousins.

Emily had a good time at our church's Easter Egg Hunt this year... that is until the eggs were all gone before she had a chance to find any. She said she didn't like this church anymore and was not coming back. We're happy to report that she is just fine and has been attending regulary since.

Emily started playing soccer at the local Pike Soccer League. She didn't like it on this first day because it was so cold and wet, but she keeps getting better each week.

Emily had her first dance class today at the YMCA. She loved it. Listening was a little difficult for her, but we are making progress. The kids all really struggled making a circle. It was more like herding cats, but everyone had a great time. When I asked Emily what her favorite part was she said the running. I think that she will do well in soccer in a couple of months. Emily and Daddy can't wait to go back.

Daddy worked in Emily's preschool class today. Emily was so happy and proud to have her Daddy there.

Today Emily and Maggie decided to share a bottle of Hylands cold therapy plus vitamin C while Mommy was not looking. We then had the opportunity to call poison control and discover she would have to have eaten 6 bottles to cause any ill effect. At the same time a raccoon got in the garage (Emily named him Oliver) and resulted in us having to call animal control. Calling poison control and animal control in the same day is not good.
