I had loads of fun at the Indiana State Fair this year. We saw lots of animals. I love feeding the baby goats. For the first time, I rode rides in the midway and Daddy and I rode the Farris Wheel.

This week (7/28-8/1) my church had Vacation Bible School (VBS). The theme was "God's Heroes". I made a hero cape, so it's official. My Daddy and cousin Cami were in my class all week. It was a blast!

Daddy's work had a summer party today at one of the Executive's house on Geist Lake. Daddy and I swam in that lake, Mommy and I rode in the boat, we ate good food, and I played with a cat. We all had a great time.

We all went to Dr Nick's surprise 30th birthday party and Emily had a ball. She met a couple of new friends Olivia and Noah. She cried when we left.

Emily went to Kingsway VBS this week and had such a great time. She was such a big girl going into a class where she didn't know anyone and making new friends.

Happy birthday, Emily! Today is Emily's 3rd birthday. We went to the Children's Museum and a pet store (it's a low-budget zoo). We asked her what special lunch she wanted to eat and she responded with "Taco Bell", so that's what we ate.

Today, we had Emily's birthday party with a fairly small group of family and friends. The weather couldn't have been any better. Emily (and everyone else from what we could tell) had a great time. When we started to sing "Happy Birthday" to Emily, she hid under the table. She later told us that (basically) she was being shy. That's a first. :) Well... thanks to everyone who was able to attend and make this a special day for Emily.
