The kids did great this morning in the nativity scene. Emily was Mary, Elise was an angel, and Emerson was a shepherd. Don’t mind that Joseph is Luke Charboneau (Mary’s cousin). Maybe that is a little messed up.

Sadly, the 9-foot Minion could not survive the high winds during the last two weeks and he ripped. Carl is dead.

Fun morning at the boys preschool Christmas party. Elias loved the games and wanted very little to do with the crafts while Emerson wanted to do absolutely everything. He has turned into a little crafter like the girls.

Fun evening at the Zoo last night. It wasn’t busy at all. The kids loved the fake snow machine.

Fun musical breakfast with Santa at West Middle School this morning. The kids really enjoyed the crafts and trying out absolutely every extremely loud instrument.

Emily, Elise, and Emerson put all of the ornaments on the tree this year. Eli decided after he broke one and the girls freaked out that the iPad was more his speed.

Happy Halloween from Captain America, giraffe, cowboy Superman, and an owl! Eli decided to have a crying fit about halfway through in a neighbor driveway. It is so hard being 3.

Last back to school night complete. Elias enjoyed seeing his teachers, but Emerson was home sick with an ear infection and croup. Hopefully he will be all better and ready for school on a Monday.

Today we start preschool, 4th grade, and 7th grade. I must admit my heart hurts watching them grow up so fast. At least I still have Emerson with me for a couple of weeks until his preschool starts.
